Similar to Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-off cleaning machine that can take care of both mopping and vacuuming. It comes with a multifunction dock that automatically emptys the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, and washes and dry the mop pads. The smart robot uses the combination of LIDAR and structured light to draw out floor plans and identify obstacles, making it more efficient than its more expensive competitors. It also has a front mounted camera for real-time hazards detection however this was not 100% reliable in our tests and was sometimes confused with power cords or obstructions. Its vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals, which is more than enough to get the job done. It also comes with an option known as “Intelligent Dirt Detection”, that regulates the vacuum's power and adjusts cleaning frequency for different areas of the home based on how dirty the areas are. The iRobot app is designed to guide you through the mapping process that collects data on your floorplan and any “no go” areas that you have marked on the map. It can be used to design cleaning schedules or to organize a spot-clean. You can also use it to prioritize your dirtiest areas to improve performance. The app also provides access to many features like seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning. Its shape is more rectangular than most other robot vacuums, meaning it can get to corners and underneath furniture more easily. It also has a powerful 8,000 Pascal suction and combs with intelligent technology for hair of pets. You can also set up a spot-clean that thoroughly cleans the area. The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and less expensive alternative to iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive design, similar to Dolce & Gabbana.
